Why should I choose your company as opposed to others?

PowerHouse Creative makes satisfying customers its top priority. The client’s needs, requests, and input are of great importance. With such an emphasis on customer satisfaction, you can rest assured knowing we will work diligently to see you happy with the final product.

What if I’m not happy with the final product?

Due to the way each project is developed, working continuously with the client, this outcome is rare. We separate the project into a series of stages, which are only completed after they are reviewed and approved by the client. Because your satisfaction is our purpose and intent, moving forward to completion cannot happen unless you approve.

I understand you take on large projects. Is there is a limit as to what your company can handle?

With our experience, expertise, and knowledge of the industry, the size of the project is irrelevant.

Why don’t I just outsource my project for cheaper, instead of hiring PowerHouse Creative?

Even though we can work with any budget and have kept our rates competitive, we understand cheaper services can be found through outsourcing. However, dealing with overseas workers provides other variables that can make completing your project much more difficult. Language and cultural barriers, time zone differences, and methods of communication all contribute to these difficulties. Because we are located in Hollywood, the majority of our clients reside in the greater Los Angeles area, thus making it easy to meet with them in person. But for a number of years, PowerHouse Creative (formerly JD Designs Group) has also serviced clients all over the US, and even in Morocco! So, no matter where you or your business is located, communication will not be a problem.

Do you offer SEO?

We absolutely do! Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is crucial for getting your newly developed site our there and recognized on the Internet. However, because every site is different and has its own unique structure, it is hard to place an overall estimated price in our rates section. If you are interested in this service we will evaluate your site and estimate the price accordingly.

I am very frustrated with my current website manager. Can I hire you to take over the responsibilities?

This happens quite frequently in the web development industry and we are here to help. Just provide a little background information about your site and let us know what you would like us to manage, modify, or be responsible for, and we’ll be good to go!

I’ve spent countless amounts of time and money trying to get my website built and launched, but I’m still not happy with my current developer as well as his output. If I hire you to take over the workload and/or responsibilities, how can you assure me I will get what I want?

There are usually three reasons a web developer doesn’t produce what you’re hoping for. They may not fully understand the concept you’re trying to convey, therefore missing the main idea/design altogether. They may be spreading their time management too thin between you and other clients. Or, they may not be very good at what they do. Whatever the case may be you can be assured the Crew at PowerHouse Creative has enough experience to handle anything you throw at us. And as for your approval of the final product, we take each project in stages, which prohibits us from moving forward until you are satisfied with what has been done already.

What if I have an idea for a successful website/app, but don’t have the funds to initiate the process?

It’s easy to think of the Internet as a giant, bottomless honey pot just waiting to be targeted by entrepreneurs with lucrative Web and app innovations. But implementing these ideas is sometimes the hardest part. I have the funds to kick off on my mobile app idea but I have no clue as to where I should start. If I hire PowerHouse Creative, what would your role be?

Depending on what your exact needs are, PowerHouse Creative’s role can vary. Traditionally, we would first sit down with you in order to establish a clear understanding as to what you want your app to accomplish and how it will look, function, and feel. From there we begin the design process. This would consist of various mockups for you to choose from or have us modify. After you settle on a final concept we would then create every screen from the mobile application and produce a wireframe that visually explains how the app will flow between screens. From there we move on to the actual development of the application. Depending on the size and structure of the app, this stage can be finished in as little as 2-3 weeks. After that we look at the final product and make any tweaks or additions that you deem necessary. Every project is different, especially when dealing with mobile applications, therefore depending on the size and scale of your app as well as what your interests are, PowerHouse Creative can provide as much or as little assistance as you need.

I designed and put together wireframes for my mobile app myself. Can I just hire you to program it?

If you already have an app concept that is fully designed and ready to move forward, we would love to help finish the job. We can easily take what you have already completed and perform the last and final step.

Branding/Graphic Design

All I need is a simple logo designed for my small business. How fast is your turnaround?

Logo designs and other small graphic work can be produced quickly, sometimes taking less than a week to complete. However, the time frame for this type of work is entirely dependent on how much information you can provide us up front. We will begin drafting designs as soon as we fully understand your visions and goals. Then we will send mockups back and forth to you which include your latest revisions. This process continues until you are happy with the final product. The quicker you give us feedback, the quicker we can finish the job!

What types of graphic design can you produce?

Our list of graphic production is expansive. We’ve done plenty of work on traditional projects like corporate identities, logos, and business cards, but our broad experience in this area includes other projects such as book covers, wine labels, and DVD cases, to name a few. We have also worked on multiple animation movies developing graphics and assets for these films.

I already have a logo but I’m not completely satisfied with the way it looks. Can you improve upon it?

Absolutely. Send it over and describe what you want changed, modified, or adapted and we can get started. It’s your personal trademark/logo that you are going to see everyday and it needs to reflect you and your vision!
